Catholics see the Celtic Cross as an emblem of the Celtic Christian Church dating back to the days of Saint Patrick, the great Irish evangelist who converted an entire island of pagans to the Catholic faith. They believed the circle on the Cross is a symbol of eternity that emphasizes the endless ness of God’s love.
