Santo Nio de Atocha is a beloved depiction of the Christ Child as a small pilgrim, bringing aid to those in need. With the classic pilgrim shell on his cloak, a staff in one hand, and a basket in the other this image originated in Spain and spread to the New World where devotionremains strong.
