They were not just teaching aids but personal collections of music, incorporating not only J.S. Bach’s own short pieces but also works by his sons (C.P.E. Bach, J.C. Bach) and other contemporary composers, often anonymously.Beyond Bach:The editor notes that several of the pieces in this specific 18-piece selection can be attributed to composers other than J.S. Bach, reflecting the collaborative and devotional nature of the Bach households music-making.Pedagogical Integrity:Editor Lajos Herndi (19011958) was a highly respected Hungarian concert pianist and professor. His goal with this edition was to provide a faithfulurtextfoundation while adding minimal, stylistically conservative markings to guide young players in Baroque performance practices.rdekessgek (Hungarian Interesting Facts)Csaldi emlktr:Az Anna Magdalena Bach hangjegyfzete valjban kt klnll kziratbl ll, amelyeket 1725 krl ksztettek.
