Originally commissioned when Bartk became a professor of piano at the Budapest Music Academy in 1907, the project was aimed at providing self-taught students with an abundance of performance directions. In this carefully over-detailed score, Bartk reorganized Bachs original works according to the grades of difficulty, dividing the original four books into a new progressive order. The present edition compiles these materials into two volumes (each combining two books), complete with Bartks extensive annotated comments, facsimiles of Bach’s manuscripts, and an illuminating afterword by Lszl Somfai. This edition is meticulously corrected and re-arranged for optimal page-turning, making it a valuable resource for both students and professionals.Hungarian (ttekints):ABach: A jl temperlt zongora IIIktet Bartk Bla els instruktv kiadsnak mrfldkve.
