Composed in 1812, this symphony is remarkable for itsabsence of a true slow movementand its technically demanding, humorous finale. Robert Schumann still observed its undeserved rarity in concerts as late as 1840.Menuetto Ambiguity:The provided notes highlight a specific editorial decision regarding the Menuetto movement’s central section (bar 78). The final G of the first clarinet appears ambiguously in contemporary sources, either as a two-line or a three-line note. This edition thoughtfully presents both options, allowing the performer to make the final interpretive choice. No Slow Movement:The work subverts expectation by featuring a light, almost mechanicalAllegretto scherzandoinstead of a traditional slow movement, lending the entire piece its unique, kinetic feel.rdekessgek (Hungarian)Komponlsi sebessg:Az eredeti kzirat tanstja, hogy a szimfnia 1812 oktberben kszlt el, mindssze t hnappal a Hetedik Szimfnia utn, bemutatva a intenzv alkoti szakaszt.Ksleltetett npszersg:A forrsanyag szerint, b&
