Originally published in 1969 under the titleKindergeschichten(Childrens Stories), this book invites readers to rediscover the world through a childs eyes where words, meanings, and imagination intertwine.Through his minimalist yet profound prose, Bichsel reflects on language, curiosity, and the desire to understand what cannot be fully known. Each story gently challenges how we see everyday life, reminding us that even the most ordinary objects a table, a chair, a story can hold infinite meaning.
