The first rhapsody (B minor) is known for its heroic passion, while the second (G minor) is darker and more introspective, yet equally powerful. They are dedicated to Brahms’s close friend and muse,Elisabeth von Herzogenberg. The inclusion of this work in theWiener Urtextseries, a collaboration often involving major European publishers, emphasizes the score’s commitment to scholarly accuracy. This edition is highly valued for stripping away centuries of performance tradition to reveal Brahms’s meticulously notated instructions, making it the preferred choice for students and artists preparing for competition or recording.rdekessgek (Hungarian)Johannes Brahms (18331897)nyarals kzben komponlta ezt a kt mvet, eredetileg Capriccio-nak sznta ket, de vgl a rapszdia cmet vlasztotta szabad ramls, epizodikus s drmai karakterk miatt.
