Divided into four books originally, Bartk reorganized the pieces by grading their difficulty to better guide self-taught pianists. This edition, now presented as two volumes (each containing two books), features Bartks over-detailed score with his extensive performance directions. Notably, two fugues in both Book III and Book IV are fully written out in score to acclimatize the student to score reading. Some pieces intentionally omit performance indications, inviting pianists to exercise their creativity. Enhanced by facsimiles of Bach’s manuscript and an afterword by Lszl Somfai, this edition has been revised for clarity, with errors corrected and page layouts re-arranged to facilitate page turning. Printed on high-quality, eco-friendly paper, it is a timeless resource for piano students and educators.Hungarian Translation – Overview (ttekints):ABach Wohltemperiertes KlaviertBartk Bla ltal ksztett kiadsa egyedlll instruktv publikci, amely eredetileg ngy fzetre osztott mknt jelent meg.
