Saints come to life when kids are able to read, color and play all in one book! ThisComicolor Saintsbook tells the fascinating story of Blessed Miguel Pro who was born in Mexico in 1891, the third of eleven children. During Miguel’s life, it was against the law to practice the Catholic faith in Mexico. This meant that Catholics were persecuted. During this time, Blessed Miguel became a Jesuit priest and courageously, secretly celebrated Mass and administered the sacraments. His cheerfulness and great sense of humor enabled him to encourage his Catholic countrymen. He was eventually martyred, expressing his love for Jesus with the words: “Long live Christ the King.”
