Written for soprano Galina Vishnevskaya and cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, this collection offers profound musical settings of Russian verse for high voice and piano. The song cycle remains one of Brittens most introspective works, capturing the emotional subtleties and poetic beauty of Pushkins text. It requires sensitivity and interpretive depth from both singer and pianist. The original Russian texts are preserved, and the edition includes an English preface and notes.A must-have for advanced vocalists exploring 20th-century art songs with cultural and emotional resonance.Lers (Magyarul):Benjamin Britten The Poets Echo (A klt visszhangja) cm mve egy hat dalbl ll ciklus, amelyet 1965-ben komponlt Alexander Puskin orosz verseire.
