This work introduces us and takes our heart to the profound mystery of the entire Christian liturgy: to Holy Mass, the bloodless sacrifice of Jesus; to the Greatest and most precious gift that God has been able to offer His Human creatures. He puts before us a presents us with the mankind, whom He has always loved endlessly, even before the act of creation.
We might wonder why this most precious and important gift of God Himself is continuously offered to us in the form of bread and wine. The reason is that God could not performed anything more wonderful with His love than transforms bread into His body and wine into His Blood in order to give spiritual nourishment to us, His friends!
