Composed between 1911 and 1913, these five movements are famous for their extreme brevitythe entire work often lasts less than five minutes. This 1981 pocket score, published by Editio Musica Budapest as part of thePhilharmonia Study Scoresseries, allows for a microscopic analysis of Weberns revolutionary “Klangfarbenmelodie” (tone-color melody). In these pieces, Webern abandons traditional tonality for a highly sensitive, atonal language where every single note is charged with immense emotional weight. The orchestration is delicate, often requiring unusual instruments like the mandolin, guitar, and cowbells, creating a sonic world that is both ethereal and profoundly intense.Magyar nyelv ttekintsAnton Webernt zenekari darabja (op. 10)a zenei srts s az expresszionizmus alapvet remekmve.
