Brahms’s setting ofWaldesnacht(likely one of his Op. 62 or Op. 44 choruses) perfectly captures the German Romantic tradition of meditating on nature and night. Brahms’s experience as a conductor allowed him to write works that are incredibly satisfying to sing. The Hungarian edition, published by Editio Musica Budapest (EMB) in 1973, features the translation byZoltn Zvodszky (19041979), a respected Hungarian opera director and translator. His work ensures that the Hungarian text preserves the flow and meaning of the original German poem, maintaining the integrity of the Romantic setting forHungarian-speaking ensembles.rdekessgek (Hungarian)Johannes Brahms (18331897)-ra mly benyomst gyakoroltPaul Heyse(18301914) nmet Nobel-djas klt kltszete.
