The title, “Friends, water makes silent,” suggests a humorous reflection on drinking or perhaps excessive sobriety.Haydn’s Choral Miniatures:While known for large-scale sacred works likeThe Creation, Haydn also composed many delightful smaller pieces for vocal ensembles, including canons and four-part songs. These works often exhibit his characteristic humor and masterful command of simple vocal lines. The Hungarian Connection:Lukin Lszl, the translator, was a significant figure in Hungarian musicology and pedagogy, ensuring that the translated text, kesszls, maintained both poetic quality and rhythmic accuracy suitable for the music.rdekessgekLessing Szellemessge:A Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, nmet felvilgosods kori filozfus s r ltal biztostott szveg valsznleg egy okos, taln ironikus kommentrt tartalmaz ami a ksi klasszika intellektulis szellemre jellemz.
