XVII:6) in 1793, likely while in London, and dedicated it to his patroness, Princess Maria Esterhzy. It is considered one of his most deeply personal and non-conventional works, often viewed as a testament to his emotional state following the death of his friend and suspected lover, Maria Anna von Genzinger.Double Variations:The structure, known as “double variations” (alternating two themes, A and B), allows for stark emotional contrast: the F minor theme is tragic and solemn, while the F major theme is graceful and lyrical.Herndi Lajos:The editor, Herndi Lajos (19031986), was celebrated both as a concert pianist and as a professor at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. His editions of Classical and Romantic composers are highly regarded for their practical, performance-focused fingering and scholarly care.rdekessgekAjnls s Kontextus:Haydn 1793-ban komponlta az f-moll varicikat (Hob.
