This edition, meticulously prepared by the renowned Hungarian bassoonist and pedagogueOtt Oromszegi, presents these timeless masterpieces specifically for two bassoons. Originally written for two violins or flutes, these sonatas are “canonic” because the second part follows the first exactly, creating a perfect contrapuntal imitation.Playing these sonatas is an excellent way for musicians to develop rhythmic independence, intonation, and phrasing. While arranged for bassoons, they are also perfectly suitable for any pair of tenor-bass instruments, such as two cellos or two trombones. Published in 1969, this volume remains a staple of woodwind chamber music and is frequently used in music conservatories for both its pedagogical value and its artistic beauty.Magyar (Hungarian):Sajttsa el a barokk knon mvszett Georg Philipp TelemannHat knonszontacm mvvel.
