An entertaining read-aloud for parents and childrens ministry leaders to share with little ones,Jesus and the Outsidersis about how sometimes we feel left out and lonely. Sometimes we exclude others because were afraid or unsure. How did Jesus treat the Outsiders?

• Did he make a club only some people can join?
• Or did he invite everyone to his table?

We find the answer in the words and actions of Jesus. This book tells three biblical stories of Jesus and an outsider who was looking for belonging: the Samaritan woman at the well, Zacchaeus, and the repentant thief on the cross. The humorous text and delightful illustrations lead children to discover that like Jesus, we can be inclusive of people different than us. We can appreciate the diversity of people God created in his image. And we can give others the universal love and acceptance that Jesus gave us.
