This thread-sewn hardcover lexicon was specifically designed for curious students and the adults who support their learningteachers, mathematics instructors, and parents. Beyond covering standard curriculum topics, numerous entries provide illuminating perspectives on mathematical concepts not traditionally included in Hungarian education but widely integrated into mathematics curricula worldwide. The book fills a long-recognized need in Hungarian mathematical education, offering crystal-clear explanations of mathematical concepts, operations, theorems, laws, and rules while providing methodological guidance, practical advice, and innovative teaching ideas. Varga Tams possessed the rare gift of making seemingly complex mathematical problems extraordinarily simple and comprehensible. Though tragically published after the author’s death, this lexicon preserves his pedagogical genius, making advanced mathematical understanding accessible to generations of Hungarian learners and educators who continue to benefit from his revolutionary approach to mathematics education.Matematika lexikon: Nlklzhetetlen referencia a legends oktattl, Varga TamstlVarga TamsMatematika lexikoncm mve egy rtkes, 440 oldalas referenciamunka, amelyet posztumusz, 2001-ben adott ki a Mszaki Kiad, s amely Magyarorszg egyik legbefolysosabb matematika oktatjnak pedaggiai blcsessgnek cscst kpviseli.
