Published by EMB in 1961, this edition is arranged forMixed Voices A Cappella (SATB)and is a valuable resource for choirs seeking to perform Renaissance vocal music using the Hungarian language. The English texts of these madrigals (likely sourced from Dowland’s famous lute songs or airs) have been beautifully translated into Hungarian byHuszr Klra, and the music is meticulously edited bySzekeres Ferenc. The short duration (approx. 6.3 minutes total) and moderate difficulty (Grade 2) make this an accessible and moving set for school, church, and community choirs. The titles suggest a thematic journey from affection (A drga lnyka) to longing and farewell (A vndor dala,Bcs).ttekints (Overview in Hungarian)Ez a gyjtemnyJohn Dowlandnagy Erzsbet-kori zeneszerz, a mlab s a lrai dal mesternekHrom madrigljttartalmazza.
