Our Lady of Good Health can be traced to three 16th-century miracles that happened in India, near the small town of Vailankanni. There, Mary appeared to a shepherd boy, cured a sick child, and rescued Portuguese sailors from a violent storm. Our Lady of Good Health is depicted in a brilliant orange Indian sari. The Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health in Vailankanni welcomes millions of visitors every year.Feast Day: September 8Patronage: Good Health, Healing, India, Sailors
