Though their friendship lasted barely two and a half years, it unfolded at a pivotal moment in the 19th century at the height of the Reform Era, on the eve of revolution. Their letters reveal not only literary genius but also the moral and aesthetic kinship that united two of Hungarys greatest poets. Through humor, affection, artistic debate, and mutual respect, these writings illuminate the birth of modern Hungarian poetry. After Petfis death, Arany preserved their bond in verse and essay, transforming living dialogue into immortal memory both a lost idyll and a lasting ideal.HU:Petfi SndorsArany Jnoslevelezse a magyar irodalom egyik legnagyobb kincse.
