Edited by the influential conductor Ferenc Szekeres and published in 1967 by Editio Musica Budapest, this volume presents two of Janequin’s masterful chansons arranged for standard four-part mixed choir (SATB).Known for his descriptive and often humorous vocal writing, Janequins works are cornerstones of the 16th-century repertoire. This edition features the masterful Hungarian translations byLszl Lukin, which capture the wit and storytelling of the original French texts. These pieces are ideal for chamber choirs and university ensembles looking to explore polyphonic textures that are as rhythmically exciting as they are melodically rich.Magyar (Hungarian):lje t a francia renesznsz vibrl energijt a Rgi mesterek vegyeskarai 7 ktettel, amely a legendsClment Janequinmveit mutatja be.
