Schumann wittily “smuggled” a short quote of it into the first movement as a gesture of revolutionary defiance. The “Sonata” in Disguise:Schumann described this work as a “romantic exhibition piece.” While it has five movements like a suite, its structural weight rivals that of a grand piano sonata. The Dramatic Intermezzo:The fourth movement,Intermezzo, is famous for its relentless flow of 16th notes and its intense, soaring melody, requiring exceptional finger independence and endurance.Urtext Precision:Michael Beiches 2017 revision is highly valued for clarifying the problematic pedaling and slur markings in theFinale, which were often misrepresented in older editions.rdekessgek (Hungarian)Zenei csempszet:Ebben az idben aMarseillaise-t (a francia himnuszt) betiltottk Bcsben.
