In 2005, the American Film Institute ranked it #1 on their list of greatest American film scores. Williams utilized the technique ofleitmotifassociating specific musical themes with characters and ideasmore effectively than perhaps any other modern composer. This collection features the definitive examples of these themes:”The Imperial March (Darth Vader’s Theme)”: Perhaps the most famous villain theme in history, known for its martial rhythm and dark power.”Cantina Band”: A delightful departure from the orchestral score, this piece (titled “Mad About Me” within the universe) is a catchy “Jizz” genre track played by Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, composed in the style of 1930s Benny Goodman swing.”Victory Celebration”: This track highlights the Special Edition changes; it replaced the original “Yub Nub” song at the end ofReturn of the Jedi, offering a more sweeping, tribal, and orchestral finale to the saga.rdekes Tnyek: Egy Messzi-Messzi Galaxis ZenjeJohn WilliamsStar Wars-hoz rt zenjt szles krben minden idk legjobb filmzenjnek tartjk. 2005-ben az Amerikai Filmintzet az els helyre sorolta a legnagyobb amerikai filmzenk listjn.
