The collection featuresJohann Hermann Schein, a key figure in early German Baroque music and indeed a predecessor to Bach as the cantor at St Thomas’s, Leipzig, 100 years prior. HisTrinklied(Drinking Song) captures the light-hearted spirit of student gatherings and is uniquely arranged so thatall five cello parts are equally easyto play.Moving forward to the Galant style,Luigi Boccherini, often called the “Italian master of the galant style,” contributes aMinuetto. In this piece, only the first cello part demands a higher level of technical finesse, while the others remain accessible. Finally, the collection is rounded out by the sublimeAdagiobyWolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This piece presents a consistent challenge across the ensemble, with the first and second parts requiringassured technique, especially in the higher positions, making it an excellent exercise for advanced intermediate cello students looking to tackle high-register playing.rdekes Tnyek a Zeneszerzkrl s az tiratokrlA ktetben tallhat tiratok a zenetrtnet hrom klnll korszakt lelik fel.
